dear angry bitter man

I do not believe in God because I am afraid of death,

I believe in God because he brings life. 

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will  live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” John 11:25-26

I do not worship Him in pulic because I wish to boast,

I worship in public because I will not hide a light.

“Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:15

I do not believe in Jesus because my parents told me,

I believe in Christ because he redeems my broken existence.

“justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Romans 3:24

Faith is not a fairytale I took too far,

Faith is a having the courage to follow the Lord despite the ridicule of man.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” John 15:18
